A little late...

Sorry I haven't been keeping up with the blog. Things have been boring around here and I've had nothing to write about. Kids have been good. The oldest ones have been working hard. My husband had his cataracts removed and now his vision is great. I need to go have my eyes checked.  We got our stimulus payment and tax return. I splurged and got my nails and toes done professionally. Got some new shoes, intimates, and t-shirts. First time I've had a pedicure and I ordered myself bras and underwear that match and they're purple. Never had that unless both just happen to be white. Ordered myself some Celtic Knot rings from Amazon for like $30 and they are in my size 12. Got some games and have recently started playing Skyrim on my Switch. I'm addicted to it and sometimes I can't sleep because I'm thinking about what part of the game I've to do next. Got my own Breath of the Wild so me and Eric don't have to share. This family is now a statistic. We all caught covid-19 thanks to my daughter's job. Apparently, they had a break out and my daughter caught it a brought it home. Of course I was the worse one. My Covid turned into viral pneumonia and I was the sickest of everyone. I even had to go to the emergency department to get evaluated because my breathing was off. After having a bunch of lab work the doctor decided that I am fighting an infection and decided to give me 2 iv antibiotics. After 6 hours of fluids, drugs and tests I was able to leave. It's been 3 or 4 days and I am finally starting to feel like myself.

 Hello everyone! Today started really well. I had therapy and walked to the mailbox. But tonight I find myself having some anxiety. I'm restless and can't seem to enjoy playing Sims or Minecraft. I think about laying down and reading but I don't want to fall asleep too early. I took a pill and hope it starts to work soon and I can mellow out. That's all for today. Hope everyone has had a great day and a good weekend. We're expecting a dusting of snow tomorrow!

 January 2, 2021 Well it's the new year and I've made a few goals for myself: not to be too hard on myself as I've done in the past I want to learn to have fun again I want to play my games (Sims 4, Let's Go Pikachu, and others) read my books  and enjoy family time I also want to get my youngest son's type 1 diabetes under more control. I don't expect us to be perfect but I want us to try more. (Not necessarily in that order.)  We recently (Dec 21) moved into a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment in another town. Here's a link to the video if the above embedded video doesn't work.  New Apt Video It is a hassle trying to downsize from a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom. I keep having to put things in storage or throw them away. There were so many memories from living in the house for 15 years.
